The 29th Annual Charlie Rome Basketball Tournament, Dedicated in honor of Charlie W. Rome for his devotion, outstanding sportsmanship & leadership to the youth of East Haven and his commitment to the Sal Tinari Biddy Basketball League of East Haven, Ct.

Where: Sal Tinari Basketball Gym – 5 Ure Ave, East Haven Ct (Directions)

When: Games will be scheduled for the Thanksgiving holiday break on Wednesday evening, Friday afternoon & evening as well as throughout the day on Saturday & Sunday. Please note, that your team may be scheduled to play multiple games on any of the given days. In cases of inclement weather make-ups games are TBD by tournament director.

This tournament is for 7th and 8th grade boys only and is limited to a maximum of 6 teams in each division.
Each team will play a minimum of 3 games.
Our tournaments fill up quickly and we can only hold spots once payment has been received.

Pool Play Format: Single Game Elimination Championship
This tournament is for boys travel teams in grades 7 & 8. This Tournament is reserved for Recreational Travel League teams only. No AAU teams will be accepted, unless receiving prior acknowledgement for Tournament Director.

Awards: Trophy’s will be awarded to the Tournament Champion’s, Along with the Runner-Up in each Division.
Entry Fee : For All Divisions $250.00 per team
